Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul
Maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services are delivered on the MH-60R Seahawk, UH-60M Black Hawk and Polaris PC-21 fleet directly and through partnerships. A team of highly experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and apprentices deliver daily operational tasks and deep maintenance inspecting every rivet of ADF aircraft from within purpose built hangars.
Support extends to a diverse range of aviation professionals including flight instructors, spray painters, aircraft refuellers, life support fitters and specialist aero engineers.
Logistics support
Logisticians and engineers work with local and international supply chain partners to ensure that parts, tools and materials are quickly supplied to keep Seahawk, Black Hawk & F-35’s flying where ever they are operating in the world. Directly supporting the defence of Australia requires maintaining the highest safety standards backed by a highly-skilled team that focuses on sourcing, procurement, inventory management and compliance.
Flying and Ground Team Training
Lockheed Martin trains every ADF pilot in their basic flying training at East Sale (VIC) and Pearce (WA) in the Pilatus PC-21. Training also extends to Black Hawks and F-35, the world’s most advanced fighter jet for pilots and maintenance personnel. Using full scale training aids and networked hyper realistic flight simulators allow for realistic training for pilots and ground teams.
